Chapel 9 - The Angel warns Joseph to flee into Egypt
After the shepherds and the Wise Men have paid homage to the Child, Joseph
is warned by an angel in a dream to flee into Egypt because Herod the King is
seeking to kill him.

Built at the end of the 15th century under the guidance of Bernardino CaA'. Statues of the Madonna and the Child by Gaudenzio Ferrari (16th cen.) and statues of Joseph and the Angel by Fermo Stella (16th cen.). Frescoes by Giulio Cesare Luini (1573)
